The vehicle has been subject to extensive restoration work the restoration includes a galvanised chassis and bulkhead. The vehicle comes complete with many invoices for parts and work carried out on the vehicle.

BODYWORK

The body is overall in great shape and all the panels are remarkably straight considering it is an ex military vehicle. The doors and door tops are in great condition as they where replaced during the restoration.

The rear tub unlike most Land Rovers is remarkably straight in the back and doesn't show any signs of hard use.

The bulkhead is exceptionally solid and even has the correct original pressed footwells which are both in remarkable condition and require no attention.

The chassis has been galvanised and is in great condition, the twin fuel tanks are both still in place both are new.

This vehicle has always had a spare wheel fitted on the bonnet it is in good condition and secured with the correct strap.

INTERIOR

It has a complete set of new black vinyl front seats which finish the vehicle off well.

UNDER THE BONNET

The engine bay has been left completely standard and has been repainted in the correct military colour which starts up first time and it really does drive with plenty of power. The vehicle is also 12 volt and not 24 volt like some lightweights.

ON THE ROAD

The engine bursts into life on the turn of the key. It always starts first time and is a great runner. The vehicle really does pull very well and is a joy to drive.

With the canvas sides rolled up and the door tops off this vehicle really does draw some attention.

The vehicle will be supplied with a 12 month MOT with no advisories.

The gears change up and down as they should the main box and transfer box both function correctly.

Almost all Series Land Rovers we have had drip a little oil, some quite a lot, this is the exception though no drips of oil to speak of even after standing for days in the same place.
