Land Rover Series 3 88" 1981 Petrol finished in Marine Blue with Sand Canvas.
First registered 20st August 1981 MCF 265X is a solid example with very straight bodywork. The chassis is very good and rear crossmember is also great.
It is in good working order and will be supplied with 12 months Mot. There are many previous Mot's going back to 1999.
In the history file I can see that the car has benefited from a new radiator, water pump, hoses just to name a few there are lots of receipts and thousands spent over the last 15 years.
The Petrol starts and runs very smoothly it retains much of it's original paint which is a sign of little use. There is very little smoke. The vehicle drives well and doesn't require any attention in the immediate future. It has good tyres all round with plenty of tread.
We were considering doing a full restoration on this vehicle but other projects have taken priority and so it will be sold in this condition however if the buyer would like any improvements to be made prior to purchase e.g. seats, hood, bumper. We will do this at the buyers expense.
