A Rare Opportunity to Acquire an Exceptionally Original, Unmolested & Very Desirable 1986 Porsche 924S
94,000 miles from new. Supplied new by Dingle Garages of Colwyn Bay, which was an official Porsche dealer.
It has had two owners since new of which a majority have owned the vehicle for long periods of time. The car comes with one of the most comprehensive history files right from day one that I have ever seen. As you will see in the photographs there is a great amount.
Unique in such original condition and we think this is one of the most original and un-restored 1986 examples available.
Retaining all of its original panels and much of its original paint.

To find an unmolested example has become very hard, but to find one that has had just two owners, only covered ninety-four thousand genuine miles, retains all of its original panels, its original body, engine, gearbox, interior and even all of its original factory paint finish well that's unheard of..............

BODYWORK
The body and paint finish is 100% original, and way above the average 29 year old 924S Porsche. However this car is not your average 924S Porsche, it is extraordinary.
It has benefited from a light polish and wax on all panels.
The wheels are finished in silver, which is factory correct for a 1986 Porsche.
The original space saver wheel is still in the boot and has never been used together with the original jack, fire extinguisher and first aid kit.
A few marks have been touched in with a touch up brush over the years but nothing considerably noticeable that requires attention.
The roof is in excellent condition and has no dents or scratches and is still in it's original paint the sunroof is also in fully working order even the original sunroof bag is in the boot.
INTERIOR
Exemplary - by far the best original Porsche 924S it still has it's original Porsche fitted carpets and floor mats. The dashboard has no cracks and is in perfect condition unlike most cars, which have been re-trimmed. This car has always been garaged and so the interior has no sun damage.
The original front and back seats are still present which are in the original Porsche cloth/leather.
Door cards to the front doors are original factory items and are complete all the window switches work. Sun visors those are perfect. It still retains all it's original factory fitted glass. It has been stamped with the cars first registration number.

Original Radio still fitted and the rest of the dashboard had been left unmolested. All windows open, all the window channels are good.
UNDER THE BONNET
The best original engine bay we have seen compared to other cars on the market. It has had no upgrades or modifications and is completely unmolested and original.
ON THE ROAD
The factory fitted engine busts into life on the turn of the key. It is apparent that this is a vehicle that has been maintained and covered low mileage it runs very smooth and has plenty of power, as it should. The engine has 150bhp and is not the Audi engine it’s the Porsche one that was then used to put into the 944’s. It is the correct engine for this S model car.
A joy to drive and such fun, the vehicle has a 12-month MOT with no advisories. The gears change up and down as they should it has a very quite gearbox which is a good sign of it's light use over the years.
The steering is as it should be and the vehicle doesn't wonder on the road it drives perfectly and is still tight and none of the suspension bushes are worn.
All the tyres are very good and have plenty of tread left.
SUMMARY
This is vehicle is an unmolested and original 924S in immaculate original condition. All the numbers match - the vin numbers on the plates are the same as on the log book registration document and that stamped on the body itself. The engine number also matches that recorded on the logbook.
