This holder has internal dimensions of 30.5cm x 18cm and so it will fit a battery of these dimensions.

This part number 577020 refers to fitting Series petrol 2.25 engines pre 1980 & there are other part numbers beginning with NRC for series battery frames suitable for diesel engines only, which had larger batteries. However this will fit a diesel engine as batteries are much higher outputs now and so a smaller battery will still work.
