On offer is a lovely example of a genuine unmolested Caterham.
First registered 1st August 1993
This vehicle has never been raced and has been maintained regardless of cost. There are lots of previous mots that warrant the mileage of 60,000 miles. There is many invoices for servicing and replacement parts, lots of work was done by Caterham Midlands. The engine was upgraded to produce 160bhp., The engine type remains standard, but the cubic capacity has been increased to 1800cc. The suitability of the vehicle's suspension and braking systems have been checked and can be confirmed they are capable if handling the additional power and torque.
The vehicle has had only 3 previous owners and so has been in long term ownership for a number of years hence the great condition the vehicle is in today.
Finished in the best colour combination British Racing Green/Yellow. This vehicle is very similar to the one used in the The Prisoner Film, albeit this is a much later model. The vehicles interior and hood is in very good condition, the engine bay is also very tidy, the tyres are all good as are the wheels. Fitted with twin Weber 40 DCOE carbs, full windscreen and side screens. Fitted with a track day roll cage although never tracked, 4 in 1 side exit exhaust, the vehicle really does sound and drive well.
The vehicle has been fitted with a new battery and will come fully serviced with 12 months mot from the date of the sale.
Please do not expect this vehicle to be immaculate as it is 26 years old, however you will have to go a long way to find a better vehicle.
