A Rare Opportunity to Acquire an Exceptionally Original, Unmolested & Very Desirable 1991 Range Rover Vogue 3.9 EFi V8 Auto.
First registered 1st May 1991. This car was purchased new from Trinity Motors (official Land Rover dealer) of Leicester and still bears the original dealer numbers plates. The car even has the bill of sale from 1995 for £15995.00, owners manual, full service history and invoices for all previous work, all the mots, workshop manuals, parts catalogues and an abundance of original accessory price lists.
H654 HBC comes with all previous MOT's which shows the very small increase in mileage every year. In unique and such original condition we think this is one of the lowest mileage, owners best original un-restored 1991 examples available.
A very rare find indeed and one unlikely ever to be repeated - truly remarkable!
To find an unmolested example has become very hard, but to find one that has such a well recorded history file, only covered fifty-eight thousand miles, retains all of its original panels, its original chassis, engine, gearbox, interior and even all of its original factory paint finish well that's unheard of...............
BODYWORK
When we acquired H654 HBC we where amazed to find the body and paint finish is 100% original, and way above the average 31 year old Range Rover. However, H654 HBC is not your average Land Rover, it is extraordinary.
The wheels are factory correct, and have recently been fully refurbished to the highest standard. We have also fitted 4 brand new Goodyear wrangler tyres. The bulkhead is exceptionally solid and original, in fact as good as we have ever seen including both original footwells, the car has never had any welding and doesn't require any and it is now ready to go as you can see in the photographs. The door sills and arches are completely rust free which is very uncommon for this age.
INTERIOR
Exemplary - by far the best original Range Rover we have seen. The original factory fitted seats are in great condition as are the bases they have never been replaced and are the originals to the vehicle. Most examples came with a leather interior which was prone to stretch and tears from sun damage The dash is unmarked with no cracks or sun damage.
The door glass is all original and etched with the registration number.
The load area is clean and all the carpets are original and in great condition.
UNDER THE BONNET
One of the best original engine bays we have seen. With all the original stickers still in place.
The inner wings are in great condition, which is a common area for corrosion on these vehicles.
ON THE ROAD
The factory fitted engine busts into life on the turn of the key. It is apparent that this is a vehicle that has been maintained and covered low mileage it runs as quiet and smooth as any Land Rover that we have ever had.
A joy to drive and such fun, the vehicle will be supplied with a full 12-month MOT with no advisories. Four wheel drive and low range engage, as they should. The gears change up and down as they should it has a very quiet gearbox which is a good sign of its light use and good maintenance over the years.
SUMMARY
H654 HBC is an unmolested Range Rover in immaculate original condition. All the numbers match - the chassis numbers on the plates are the same as on the log book registration document and that stamped on the chassis itself. The engine number also matches that recorded on the logbook.
This is one of the best low mileage and original untouched Range Rover's we have ever had the opportunity to own with a very nice history.
This Land Rover has obviously been cared for and cherished by its owners and no expense spared on maintenance. It is a very solid example that requires no work and is ready to use and enjoy.
